The BEST tinted balm for pigmented lips!
NELL is my absolute favourite from Lo Care. I can dab it on for a hint of colour or build it up for a bold look, it goes very well with my skin. It’s fantastic for those with darker lips and/or deeper skin tones, as it is richly pigmented. I’d see myself buying this often!

Femmetastic
Femme is one of the first cours I ever ordered, and I love it! It’s a beautiful bold berrylike (so more of a pink undertone) red that gives your whole look that extra extra-though it is less bold then a regular lipstick would be. I love this element, you can build the depth by using just one splotchy layer or several layers. I don’t use it every day but definitely when I want that extra. Would also love to see a more orange/fire engine red bold colour and a deep burgundy ☺️ Ps: I have neutral skin undertones

Having flare-ups with perioral dermatitis for years, wearing makeup has totally taken a backseat. That was until I stumbled upon Lo in its early stages. Falling hard for TERRA, I needed to grow my collection and did just that with MIMI. It’s the perfect “pinched cheeks” pink and brings out the best tones of my skin. “Just kissed” looking lips and softened eyes I’m so happy to wear makeup again being the only thing that doesn’t irritate my dermatitis – I will not stop wearing Lo.care products tbh X

More like a lip balm with little colour
I am a bit disappointed with RUBY. It barely has any red colour, unlike what was shown in the pictures above. I purchased TERRA before and I loved the product. With TERRA, I could see the colour on my lip just after 1-2 touch. With this product, there’s barely any colour sadly..

Ik draag scarlet niet heel vaak, maar als ik ‘m op doe ben ik toch altijd verrast hoe mooi de kleur is. Niet te rood en niet te roze. Soms mix ik ‘m met terra als ik een extra shimmer wil toevoegen.

Glow up!

Love love love!
Ik heb NELL nu ongeveer een week en ben er helemaal weg van. Ik kan iedere ochtend niet wachten om het weer op te doen, wat een nieuwe ervaring is voor een make-up product. Je kunt de kleur heel goed opbouwen van net een beetje kleur tot echt een mooie diepe paars-rood (alle lipproducten zien er bij mij vaak net wat roder uit dan bij de meeste andere, misschien door mijn lichte huid.) NELL voelt heel comfortabel op de lippen, net als een balsem.
De kleur blijft niet extreem lang zitten maar zolang ik voor een wat lichtere laag ga slijt het gelijkmatig. Als ik het wel meer opbouw dan is de slijtage minder gelijkmatig maar de irritante lijntjes van lippenstift zijn er niet echt.
Ook als de kleur weg is voelt het nog prettig op de lippen. Mijn lippen voelen verzorgd en comfortabel en ik in heb minder velletjes (nu al!). NELL is heel snel mijn favoriete lipproduct geworden wat ook de rede is dat ik niet kan wachten om nog een kleurtje te bestellen 🙂

Sadly, not a colour for me :(
Although I own at least 5 colours from Lo, I have to say Scarlet was a total flop for me. I have olive skin, and I think it doesn’t look very flattering on people with my complexion (but could also be a matter of personal taste). The product looks more red in picture than it actually is on the lips, so I would rather go for Ruby if I could go back. Other than that, the packaging and the quality is always great. Love this brand.

LOvely cheeks!
Prachtige kleur! Subtiel en tegelijk een gezonde blush op de wangen. Smeert lekker uit en je hebt weinig nodig.
Op het eerste gezicht lijkt Scarlet een donkere kleur maar bij het smeren is het een mooie zachte tint.
Ik gebruik wel altijd een kwastje want met lange nagels is dit toch wat lastiger.
Ook op de lippen geeft het je een frisse look.
Ik ben fan van deze producten!

Happy lips!
Na Terra en Velvet wilde ik een iets opvallender kleur voor erbij en bestelde Femme. Wat een voltreffer, want Femme is zooo mooi! Voelt als lippenbalsem, maar geeft je ook qua kleur echte happy lips!

Most versatile shade
Elle is a nice in-between of red and pink, giving a nice fuschia stain to your lips. I always love this look because it’s a nice pop of color, and fast to apply, but makes me feel so much better than wearing nothing. Love this on my cheeks. For black girls, I totally recommend Elle and Nell for shades in terms of color payoff. I love Elle for the day time for my lips and cheeks and Nell at night as it gives me a more formal look.

Beautiful plum lip
Nell is the best for a plum stained lip. Not too purple or artificial looking in terms of the color itself. It can pile on for a darker shade but I love it as just a stain. Doesn’t leave a flaky residue either which is perfect.

Versatile colour
I usually use a hint of Elle on my lips and cheeks for a subtle pop of colour- but it looks great layered as well. It works lovely as a bright, poppy blush. I really don’t think you can go wrong with this shade.

Beautiful product

Very natural colour
I have a very fair skin tone. I read somewhere that this colour looks great on fair skin tones and it does! It is really natural. Normal i use more rosy/mauve colours on my cheeks, but I’m very surprised by colour. It gives my skin some warmth without being too much. On my lips it does not do that much, is more like regular lipbalm. However, combining this colour on my cheeks/eyes with a more intens colour on my lips looks nice!

Subtle but powerful
I really love FEMME, I enjoy quite natural and simple makeup and FEMME gives me just that extra little pop of colour on my lips for the autumn/winter. I feel like I tend to look washed out in bold/dark colours but this one is really nice, plus I can build it up to my liking!
I also very much enjoy that it is HYDRATING. My lips feel so soft and ‘plump’ when using LO care’s products and just knowing that it does not have harmful chemicals and is made ethically also makes it 100x nicer to use for my conscious as well haha.
All in all great products! And when considering everything that goes behind making this ethical, gorgeous, and sustainable product it is quite affordable.

I can’t stop adding colors to my collection
I just received Elle. What a beautiful color again. It has this watermelon warm wonderful red tone. I love it. Like with all colors you can build it up as intense as you wish. Left over from my fingers always goes on my cheeks for a wonderful uniform all look. Loving it!!!!

Obsessed with NELL
I love purple but have a hard time of finding a lip colour that is not matte or glittery and has the exact tone I want. NELL is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for a subtle hint of purple, or for some badass purple lips when you layer it.

Fresh!!
Scarlet is a wonderful color that gives freshness on your face and cheeks. Warm tone that matches perfectly with a taupe Smokey eye. I often also use it as an eyeshadow making a complete look on my lips, eyes and cheeks.

Mooi rood
Ik voel me zelf altijd ongemakkelijk bij rood op mijn lippen. Ervaar het als too much. Ben erg blij met Femme. Bold genoeg voor kleur. Maar ook niet te schreeuwerig. Rijke diepe kleur die ook mooi is als blush.

A lovely pink-red!
I really love the concept of Lo, all natural, no nasty chemicals and no plastic. Femme is such a pretty colour. It really enhances your complexion. You can use a few light dabs on your lips and cheeks and you will look lovely. Use a bit more and, wow, you are ready for a party! I have been looking for a long time to find a natural alternative for my lip products and Lo ticks all the boxes: great colour selection, product versatility and quality.

Perfect Red
I got 3 other Lo colours, but FEMME is hands down my favourite! It’s a perfect every day red, that doesn’t bleed, leave streaks or settle in your lip lines. With me using much less makeup during the quarantine, it substituted basically my entire makeup bag. Natural look yet a bold statement 🙂

ROSA & SCARLET
Hele fijne balm! Oogt heel natuurlijk, voelt prettig aan en kost weinig ‘werk’ om aan te brengen. Snel een mooi resultaat. Ik ben heel blij met de kleuren ROSA(warme, frisse kleur) en SCARLET(bijzondere, luxe kleur).
Daarnaast biedt Rosa een super goede service met duidelijke uitleg, passend advies en ze denkt graag met je mee. Ik ben erg tevreden! Normaal gesproken hou ik niet zo van make up (je moet steeds opletten of het nog goed zit, of het voelt niet prettig aan) maar dit product is top! De kleur vervaagd egaal, zonder lijntjes, dus geen lelijk gezicht als je het vergeet bij te werken. Kortom, mocht je nog twijfelen, probeer het uit of stuur een berichtje aan Rosa voor advies 🙂

Super flattering darker pink
This color is super beautiful and a good mix of pink and a tiny bit red. The formula is soft and supple to put on. A thin layer of this will give a really pretty pink hue on the lips. Its buildable to a super bold color that will make you stand out if you like!

I had bought the ELLE For myself but it didn’t turn out as nice as hoped for. It doesn’t apply very equally and since it’s quite dark purple-ish It ended up looking like wine stains more than a lip tint. I also bought scarlet and I really like that one

Prachtige kleuren: Nell en Rosa
Laat je niet tegenhouden door de diepe kleur van Nell. De kleur is heel goed te doseren voor net dat beetje extra tintje op je lippen tot echt een diepe kleur. Zelfs een klein beetje geeft net dat beetje om je gezicht op te warmen. Het blijft lang zitten en door de hoge pigmentatie gaat het potje erg lang mee. Voor de dagelijkse nude lip heb ik Rosa. Prachtig oudroze! De verpakking is luxe en herbruikbaar. Top product

BAMBOO en MIMI
Een tijdje geleden heb ik BAMBOO gekocht als lippenbalsem en die bevalt enorm goed. Een lekker beschermend laagje, dat zacht en prettig aanvoelt. Ook mijn vriend is fan ;).
MIMI gebruik ik sinds aankoop elke dag als blush en vind ik heel mooi en prettig in gebruik. Is zacht, smeert goed uit, heeft een mooie glans en blijft heel lang zitten. Je hebt er weinig van nodig, ik heb er nog nauwelijks een kuiltje in gemaakt.

Niet twijfelen gewoon doen!!
Ik heb op heel veel cosmetica een allergische reactie, dus ik draag niet veel make-up. Bijna alles heb ik geprobeerd, allemaal zonder succes. Totdat ik LO tegenkwam op Instagram, ik las de reviews en het verhaal achter LO en besloot het maar te proberen. Ik bestelde de kleur NELL met pepermunt geur en echt waar, spijt dat ik dit niet eerder heb gedaan! Laat je niet afschrikken door de donkere kleur in het potje want zodra je hem op je lippen doet kan je hem opbouwen. Een subtiele kleur naar wat donkerder voor wat meer WOW. Alsof je net rode wijn hebt gedronken maar dan op je lippen! Het restant wat over blijft op mijn vinger smeer ik op mijn wangen voor een super mooie blush. Het blijft nog lang zitten ook. Kortom heel tevreden, ik ga zeker weer bestellen en kan het iedereen aanraden. 😊💋

Beautiful colors!
I have NELL and ROSA and both colors are beautiful. NELL is really nice because you can layer it to make it darker and darker. The tints are easy to apply (also on your cheek) so it is no problem that you have to reapply it once in a while. Happy with both of them (and the fact that there is no plastic involved ofcourse) 🙂

Bamboo & Elle
I have been wanting to buy these products for months now, and finally got the chance to visit Amsterdam’s Hutspot to test them. First and foremost, the packaging is sublime…classy, elegant and ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY! A true example for other make-up brands to follow. I especially love that the glass is frosted, and that each wooden lid is unique. I would definitely use this packaging for something else when I run out. I would perhaps even suggest a re-fillable product in future? 🙂
I love that the product itself is naturally made, so I don’t feel bad when I may lick my lips as I know there are no artificial ingredients entering my body. I love the natural finish of Elle, it simply enhances your beauty.

Elle - fijn product maar helaas niet blij met kleur
Een tijdje geleden heb ik de lip & cheeks tint Elle besteld. Ik vind het een mooi product, en ik hou erg van de manier waarop je door 1 of meerdere laagjes aan te brengen zelf kunt kiezen wat de dekking van de kleur wordt. Zoiets heb ik nog niet eerder gezien, en miste ik al jaren! Helaas ben ik alleen niet blij met de kleur, op mijn beeldscherm leek hij meer roze/rood, wat ik erg mooi vind, maar hij blijkt veel meer bruin/rood. Helaas staat deze kleur mij niet, en zal ik hem dan ook niet meer gebruiken.

The one and only
I discovered LO on Instagram and the colours immediately caught my attention. Seeing that it is made just around the corner from where I live and that it is made from natural and animal friendly ingredients I decided to give it a try. It is worth every cent! I don’t use any other lipbalm anymore, it feels so soft and nourishing on my lips and the colour is absolutely lovely. I went with the peppermint option for some extra freshness. The price seemed a little high for my friends when I told them but trust me you go a long time with one order and seeing what a sustainable and high standard product you get, I won’t hesitate to buy it over and over again. I am curious to try other colours as well.

pure aesthetic pleasure
the lo balm has become one of my favourite things and was the best 20 euro i spent lately. every time i touch it i feel pure kinaesthetic joy, the package is beautiful but is also practical. the balm itself is wonderful, i have minty scarlet tint and couldn’t wish for anything better. overall i’m a very happy customer and very happy to have found you (: eco-refilling solution would be great, so i keep my eyes open for updates.

Heb lang lopen twijfelen welke kleur ik zou kopen. Daarom ben ik naar alle 3 de vestigingen geweest waar ze zouden liggen. Helaas de Scarlet in geen enkele winkel gevonden (zo populair dus!). Toch maar online besteld en geen spijt gehad! Zeer mooie kleur en zorgt ervoor dat ik geen droge lippen meer heb! Daarnaast de peppermint scent erbij, die is licht maar precies goed!

Finally a clean lip product ♥️
Read about Lo Amsterdam in a magazine and it immediately caught my attention! Slowly changing all my beauty products to more natural and conscious choices and I couldn’t be happier with this product! Can’t wait to try some off the new lip tints!

Wat een mooi en eerlijk product! Mijn lippen voelen gehydrateerd en Scarlet geeft een mooie subtiele kleur. Zelfs de verpakking is mooi! Echt een aanrader.

Fantastic!
Really enjoy this product! I got the liptint in scarlet and it looks and feels amazing! I got the peppermint scent, it’s really subtle but still gives a fresh feel to it. And not to forget no plastic and all natural ingredients! Love it and really recommend it!

Super mooie producten
Ik ben super blij en erg enthousiast over dit product.
Het zit in een hele mooie verpakking en de balsem zit in een heel mooi en luxe potje, echt te mooi om te zien.
En het mooie van alles is dat het helemaal natuurlijk is, dus goed voor mijzelf en goed voor de natuur.
Ook vindt ik het mooier en leuker om natuurlijke producten te gebruiken dan all die chemische troep wat je overal vindt, waar ook nog zoveel rotzooi en vergif in zit wat super slecht is voor je gezondheid.
Ik kan nu onbezorgd iedere dag mijn lippen verzorgen met deze mooie producten zonder mijn lichaam schade aan te richten!
Een Tip!!!!
Misschien een idee om de gekleurde balsems met kleur in een lippenstift houder of labello houder(wel jullie eigen label) te ontwikkelen.
Want telkens wanneer ik mijn lippen met mijn vinger in smeer
Is mijn vinger rood.
En dat is niet altijd fijn omdat je niet altijd je handen ergends kan schoon maken, zonder dat je dit per ongeluk aan je mooie witte jurkje smeert.
De andere lippen balsem die verzorgt is geen probleem want die geeft niet af en kan ik dan ook vaker lekker smeren.

Natural Beauty
I love my Scarlet lip balm! It’s the perfect treat every morning in my make-up routine – the balm feels lighter than a full-out lipstick, but it still colours my lips to give them the fresh glow (and dark pink colour) that I want (the colour stays well). Thanks so much! (And can I just say, the packaging is beautiful…)

‘Little Black dress’ scarlet-beautiful and functional!
I purchased scarlet from this wonderful range and could not be happier. It’s an everyday red- subtle yet absolutely beautiful. My lips but better red by day and by night I can jazz it up. However, in my eyes the most amazing thing about it is that it truly moisturises your lips and prevents peeling. Chanel, Dior, Armani, Charlotte tilbury, Rms, you name it, I have tried them. All their reds are somehow causing my lips to peel. No idea why. This lo lip product, however, actually prevents this from happening. Even when faded and at the end of the day my lips still feel smooth. Oh and it doubles as a blush 🙂 I only have one wish- more colours 🙂 happy customer for life here!!

Erg blij met mijn scarlet. Was al snel verliefd op de kleur toen ik het op de foto zag. Kan alleen maar zeggen hoe tevreden ik er over ben. Gebruik het nu een aantal dagen en kan niet meer zonder. Bestel snel meer!
